SENDING MONEY from an Agent Location
Note: This service may not be available at all locations.
1 Visit your nearest Western Union® Agent location
2 Fill out a Send Money form
3 Provide payment to the clerk in cash - including the amount to be sent and appropriate fee(s).
Identification may be required. Additional restrictions may apply.
4 Get the receipt that includes your Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN).
5 Give the MTCN to the person picking up the funds for extra convenience. A test question may be
required by law or may be used to help Western Union identify the receiver of the funds.
RECEIVING MONEY at an Agent Location
1 Visit your nearest Western Union® Agent location
2 Fill out a Receive Money form.
3 For faster service contact your sender for the Money Transfer Control
Number (MTCN).
4 Present the completed form and valid identification to the clerk. Additional restrictions may apply.
Depending on the location and amount of money you are picking up, you may be asked a "test question" to verify
you are the intended receiver. The test question is created by your Sender in order for you to be identified at the Agent
location. Depending on the receive amount and location, you may receive portions of your funds in both cash and check.
